Title: Tips and tricks in dam insulation

Insulation with rubber foil has been used for over 150 years and has proven its success and survival over time precisely because of the advantages it offers. By enlarging the work field, keeping it clean and maintaining the clinician’s focus in the work area, the rubber foil provides ergonomics and predictability.

But to take advantage of its full benefits, the clinician must master the correct isolation technique.

In this presentation, we propose to address cases in which insulation with dam foil can become complicated and how we can simplify the procedures so that the complications turn into success.
