Recent advances in the field of Endodontics have led to the development of regenerative concepts for various procedures, emerging new treatment methods to maintain the vitality and longevity of the tooth. Fibrinogen-rich plasma (PRF) has been proposed as a potential dental pulp coating material due to its excellent tissue biocompatibility. Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a second-generation fibrinogen concentrate introduced by Choukroun in 2001 that contains blood components that are favorable to healing.
